The RSV Vaccine works!
-
Mrs. Mark picked up a virus and has been miserable, coughing and hacking for over a week now. I thought, "great, now I'm going to get sick too."
But no! I got the RSV vaccine last month and it appears to be doing its job very well. I had a very minor sore throat for the past couple of days, and that's all but gone now.
Come to find out that RSV is making its way through the neighborhood.
Vaccines ftw!

Hope Mrs. Mark gets well soon!!!
(PS Glad that your case is minor. I got the COVID booster and RSV vaccine a few months ago. Got COVID right at the beginning of the year - just a very minor case. DOnt think I have had the RSV.)

Thanks TG! She is going to convenient care this afternoon. It's been over a week and her cough is not getting any better. Need to make sure it's not pneumonia or something else more serious.
Yeah, getting it looked at wouldn't hurt - despite what it says next to my photo I'm not a Doctor, but I thought RSV was normally fairly mild for adults. My daughter had it when she was about 3 months old, and spent a rather scary week in Boston Children's Hospital with Mrs. Phibes, but despite the worry she recovered well.
