. . . as seen via Kirlian photography: “A process in which an image is obtained by application of a high-frequency electric field to an object so that it radiates a characteristic pattern of luminescence that is recorded on photographic film”

Go here for "a very cool look at the world of energy as it is contained in food and perhaps transferred to our own bodies!" http://www.fengshuidana.com/2014/01/21/the-dynamic-cellular-energy-of-your-food-your-life/

Real? Bunk? Don't know, but it's something interesting to think about.

      Very interesting read, though.

"Say Hello to Feng Shui 101".

Is that anything like Room 101, but with less clutter?

          I was only joking

            Of course food has energy.
All matter, including food, is energy. E = mc^2.
And yes, that energy transfers into your body when you eat
You eat food in large part to give your body energy. Calories!

Yes, but the technique, the so-called Kirlian photography? Is what we're seeing the energy of the food, or some other artifact of the process?

I'm sure it's every bit as scientific as Feng Shui.

Don't know yet. Have to see the same technique applied to a few other things, for examples:

                  • A piece of plastic, say, a Lego block
                  • A piece of stone or clay or china
                  • A cut of meat, cooked/well done
                  • A cut of meat, raw
                  • A piece of ferromagnetic metal
                  • A piece of non-ferromagnetic metal
                  • A piece of magnet
                  • An ice cube
                  • A piece of glass, say, a shot glass
                  • Water in the aforementioned shot glass
                  • Water in a plastic cup
                  • A fresh grape
                  • A raisin (dried grape)
                  • Fresh tea leaves
                  • Dried tea leaves

Work through all those variations and we'll have a better understanding of what that process shows or does not show.
