Nice. I was getting into model building before my thumb injury. I hope to get back to it someday.

        Education is extremely important.

              Nice!

I meant to comment, but forgot.

Back in the early 1990s, I built several 1/48 models that came out pretty nice. I wish I had photos.

One was a Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat. The amount of detail on the thing was amazing, including decals for the instrument panels.

I believe it was this one, but I'm not sure:

                https://www.amazon.com/Hasegawa-F-14A-yJapanese-plastic-modelz/dp/B003BX3ZGO

Yeah, it's pricey ($75). I think I paid about $50 back when I bought it.

I also did a Hasegawa 1/ 48 F-15 Eagle, 1/72 Hornet and a F-111 Aardvark (with swivel wings). I think the Hornet and Aardvark were Revell.

It was a lot of fun.

Now that you mention it, it might be fun to get into something like this again - it's a condo-friendly hobby. The investment in an airbrush, paints, etc, would be considerable, but might be worth it.

And you could make videos about it...

With best of intentions the project got deprioritized but may be back on this Saturday. The final nail in the coffin was a necessary trip for more paints and a debate over grades of sandpaper.
