You can do some research, but the differences between the actual early rifles and this one are very few. To be honest, the 1:7 twist doesnt stabilize most 5.56 loads tiday, including the 62g SS109 NATO. They also offer it in a 1:12 twist, which will handle 55 to 70 grains with good accuracy.
