      Definitely could have something to do with lifestyle, but the problem (for me) with the report is that the amount of people living a long time back then was pretty small. Most people died "young".

      And some/most of the really old people were probable just commoners. They may have gone crazy, but it just was not documented.

        AFAIK, they had no rheumatoid arthritis, either.

            And I think a lot of plates and bowls and eating utensil had lead in them also.

              Lead and regular exposure to other toxic heavy metals. Mercury comes immediately to mind.
