Back when we were considering selling the house, we actually considered moving downtown.

Glad we didn't.

We thought we'd move to a smaller condo in the Gold Coast area too. Glad we didn't. The city has a lot of tribulation to go through before they right the ship. Kowtowing to the criminal element won't do it.
