Without getting into details, let me relate a conversation I had at the barber shop yesterday....

We were talking about various real estate developments in town, and how some have fared well, and others have been shaky.

Turns out that the attorney was a classmate of one of the real-estate developers. The project went belly-up, and the attorney's lack of adequate representation might have played a part.

    But...I digress.

Seems this attorney has a history of shady dealings. Ultimately, he was disbarred.

The barber says to me, "Think about that. How corrupt do you have to be to get disbarred in COOK COUNTY???"

I laughed so hard he almost cut off my ear.

The Disciplinary Commission found XXX guilty of the following misconduct.

      • Engaged in multiple conflicts of interest
      • Breached fiduciary duties to client on numerous occasions
      • Delegated client representation to another attorney w/o client’s consent
      • Engaged in improper business transaction with client
      • Offered false evidence to quasi-judicial bodies

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished XXXX by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

He's been in his shop at the local railroad station for 30 years. A lot of locals have sat in his chair.

Angelo (now 84 years old!) hears everything.

@George-K My barber is 82 by now. I've been a customer for more than 62 years. There's not much I don't know about my neighbourhood 😁
