In a single Olympics Phelps won a gold for 100m Butterfly, 200M Butterfly, and 2 different relay teams where he swam the Butterfly… That’s impressive as hell, but it’s still 4 golds for being the best in the world at 1 thing. The pole vaulter only gets 1 event. There’s no relay with the long jumper, sprinter, and javelin thrower…
