GDP of the Southeast U.S. exceeds GDP of the Northeast U.S. That's never happened before.

It is indeed a massive influx, mostly into blue cities with nicer weather.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As long as the red states stay red, I'm fine with it.

Yup. Agree. It may take a while, but probably will happen.

In this case, here's what I think will happen...I suspect many of the people moving do tend to be a bit more middle and upper middle class. Taken as a group, I suspect they are a tad more conservative.

As they move into red states and assimilate, I suspect they will maintain the group's level of conservatism or possibly become more conservative.

Now,, Jon is right about the blue urban areas. And some of those moving will choose these progressive enclaves and maintain their progressive views, but I hope some red does rub off on them...

The future is unclear, but I suspect the woke agenda has just about reached the end of its tether. A vocal minority can only push the majority so far. I'm hoping for a return to a more centrist sanity.

Failing that, a massive war between all the libtards who have left NY and the redneck yokels they've moved in on, leaving a barren wasteland, so that those happy few left behind in the sensible states such as Rhode Island will be able to take over the world.

                    I was only joking

That would be the shortest war in history. The south would rise again. And wouldn't lose a single cornfield.

I don't know - some of those massive SUV's are pretty quick in a straight line.

Oh, I've got a few things that would go through the radiator, engine block and leave a nice hole in anything between the dash and the back tailgate...Did I mention my neighbors have a cannon? 🤠

I agree. The great thing about teh US is there is always a tendency for things to swing back to the middle. The country, as a whole, seems able to self correct when things go too far to either the left or right.
