Yup and how.
Usually triggered by traction on the ocular muscles.
I've never seen it during cataract surgery because the work is all done in the front of the eye.

More common in children.
I have seen it, almost as dramatic during an enucleation, when the surgeon puts those NASTY MoFo enucleation scissors behind the globe.
