Christmas shopping

All my shopping was done online this year, except for a few small stocking stuffers, lottery tickets and candy.

I finished a week ago and never went to any mall or department store. I think that is a first.

The fact that Mrs. George and I don't exchange gifts (anymore) makes it a LOT easier.

I do admit, though, the wife and I are kinda locked in on gifts. She'll get me something simple ... A flannel shirt, perhaps.

I buy her a bottle of Coco. One bottle of perfume lasts her the year.

Even when you had to go to a store I didn’t “shop”. I decided what I wanted to give then went to where I knew it was, got it and got out.

It’s different for the kids, but for Karla and I it’s really about trips or experiences. This year it will be a weekend getaway over MLK Weekend to a local ski resort…

That’s our Christmas this year - here in Vegas, very few presents. But we went to see Cirque du Soleil Love, Ethel M Christmas cactus garden today we went to Valley of Fire state park (incredible), tomorrow the Sphere, Tuesday Bellagio for dinner at Lago, the fountains and the Christmas conservatory display.
