I wonder if the tide will continue to turn.

    Woke --> Broke

“He’s a creepy little guy”: Warner Bros Cancels $10 Million Project Starring ‘Woke’ Robert De Niro

In a surprising turn of events, Warner Bros has decided to drop a highly anticipated $10 million project featuring iconic actor Robert De Niro. The decision comes amidst controversy, with some labeling De Niro as “creepy” and “woke,” raising questions about the intersection of personal beliefs and professional collaborations within the entertainment industry.

The cancellation of the project with De Niro raises questions about the industry’s approach to ‘wokeness’ and the potential consequences for actors associated with progressive causes.

He’s an often cited example of an actor with mystique, who is personality free in the flesh. Maybe the Trump hatred is his proxy for a personality. I actually bet that has something to do with it.

Where’d you run across this? I assume you don’t regularly peruse esspots.com.

I ask because google news seems unaware.

And a twitter search came up dry too.

Also hard to imagine a gangster movie canceled for being woke.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Maybe someone needs a visit from Joe Pesci. That’ll wake ‘em up all right.

It’s a fake news site. It calls itself satirical.

            I was only joking

I think it's an AI article, not really satirical per se. Just a speculative history thought experiment.

Perhaps it's false, but life don't begin and end with Twitter, mush as the sun doesn't rise and set in the NYT.

Facebook, I think. This kind of stuff just pops up, mixed in with the home page.

Lucky for us, it seems we might have otherwise missed the story.

Made up, IOW. It’s like satire but not funny

I don't think there's much of a perhaps about it.

Apart from anything else, when was the last time they made a De Niro movie for $10 million?
