I've never seen a better argument for expanding the college football playoff, since Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship.

Alabama and Georgia both need to go to the playoffs. As does Washington. And Michigan. And Texas. Maybe Oregon. Perhaps Florida State.

Too many teams, too few slots.

This year, there are multiple good teams. Every team I listed is either undefeated or has only one loss.

If the lower divisions can do it, the big boys can.
