It may not be the best teams in the playoffs, but the ones that have had their starting QB all year...

Yep, welcome to the random emotional lottery of NFL fandom.

      Education is extremely important.

This year has been bad for that. Last night turned out well, horrible officiating notwithstanding.

          SEAN PAYTON IS/WAS RIGHT!

          1. Goodell can go to Hell. The Saints under Payton were consistently penalized for infractions that other teams weren't. Home cooking on the road. Anti-home cooking in the Dome.
          2. Taken as a whole, the officiating in the NFL may be worse than in the NCAA.
          3. The money is there for full-time officials. Hire them, train them, pay them well.
          4. Have a replay official at every game. Not in New York. At the game. The XFL has done a great job of this and it has not slowed down the game. The NCAA has done the same in the SEC. It works.

Did you watch the game last night? A Bengals defender had his arm wrapped around the receiver's head and his hands right on his visor in front of his eyes. If that's not DPI I don't know what is. Besides, there was so much armfighting and such that I think it was a foul even before that.

Caught about three minutes of the Second Quarter. I thought the Jags had it in the bag.

              Stupid me.

I did too. But they started playing like Joe’s team. Browning did a great job. If he continues to improve we might have a shot.
