Also, if the answer to a prayer is just silence, that's not really an answer. It's completely indistinguishable from what happens if there's nobody there. And honestly, if He can't be arsed to fix the Middle East, I'm pretty sure He doesn't care about helping me with my saxophone playing.
Let's put it this way, if my wife asks me for something, and all she gets is silence, then there's likely to be a bit of a scene. If I did it a few times, my house would resemble the Middle East.
Again, don't take this shit seriously. It's Sunday night and I have to leave for work at 5am tomorrow morning. I'm about to have a beer.

That’s why I prefer a walk in the forest to the dissonance of organised religion and its hordes of annoying and meddlesome supplicants.

If a tree falls on me in the forest and there's nobody to hear me screaming, does it really hurt?

Well, it’s an act of God, so I’d guess yes. Hurts bad. Real bad.

Heh… He said “Beaver”… Heh….

Let's say, there'll be Hell to pay.

What if the tree is a sapling? Might not hurt too much and it may have been an act of a busy beaver.

I was mistaken earlier. Trump does not see himself as the Messiah. Rather he believes himself to be the American Moses.
