Thank you for reminding me! I’ve been in a few internet arguments with people regarding Kenny Pickett… As bad as he’s looked, I’ve been reminding people that Bradshaw looked worked, even Manning had worse stats… But I forgot about Brees! Brees was awful his first 3 years. I mean horrible. It’s why the Chargers drafted Eli and traded to Rivers… Then Brees took off and was one of the 10 best QBs in history… 17 games with a horrible OC is not enough time to make a decision on the kid. Especially a kid who started slow at Pitt and just improved every year. It’s his MO.

His first year he almost didn't play at all. His fourth year he threw for over 3000 yards, 27 TDs and 7 interceptions. And an 11-4 record.
