End of October interest rates were raised to 15%:
Someone I know very well was there visiting family first two weeks of October. I am told people are increasingly uneasy about where things are heading not only economically but politically as well. An atmosphere of fear, suspicion and reticence not seen since the Brezhnev era, is returning if not already established.

Is this because of sanctions, the drain on the economy from the Special Military Operation, or general weariness with the war?
I know numbers are inflated as to casualties, but in a country such as Russia, I would assume that everyone knows someone who has been affected by the casualties.

Steal an election. Weaponise the FBI. Turn the USofA into a fascist dictatorship. Destroy the Trump family business.
Russia is the only country on earth suffering from high inflation that wasn't caused by Joe Biden. I'd say that's pretty impressive.
