Just had a very long call with daughter discussing her infrequent THC gummy usage.

Such a different parameter than concealing all the weed we smoked from our parents.

      It's really weird, isn't it?

Last summer, when my family were away for a couple of weeks, I'd mentioned to my brother that I was considering stopping at a certain store on my way home from work on Friday.

He knows me pretty well, and pointed out that there was a fair chance that Mrs. Phibes would return to something resembling Jim Ignatowski. I changed plans, at least for now.

      I was only joking

Itโ€™s been legal here for going on six years. Never got into it back in the day and have no desire now. Was one of those โ€œtried it once and didnโ€™t like itโ€ types.

Never even had a desire to try it.

You think that's weird, I get to watch my parents turn into absolute stoners. It's quite annoying, actually.

Conversation with SIL in Denver in 2019.

Yep, that's weird. My SIL's dad told her that he was smoking weed AND that she had a half-sister she never knew about from an affair - all in one conversation.

Smoked weed for the first time in....1974. Did nothing for me.

Tried it again in 2017 (edible). Made me dizzy and sleepy.

                    No thanks.

                      Nice.

I've been involved in a couple of those kinds of conversations. Just as bad if not worse. It's like what the fuck work on your communication skills maybe, you can't just drop bombs like that with no context.
