With his popularity, this ought not to be a close contest for the current governor...

I'm getting the ads. Bashear is going to win it. Cameron has run a terrible campaign. No positive ads except one that ties him to Trump. Bashear has positive ads, is very popular (with good reason) and has tied Cameron to Matt Bevin, the prior unpopular governor.

Bashear is up 60 to 40 percent. Interesting because in pretty much every race the GOP is winning in Ky.

Sadly I think issues 1 and 2 will pass in Ohio.

            Well, Bashear is popular.

And for good reason. He was as much a leader during COVID and the tornadoes as DeWine was in Ohio. He has taken credit for a tax cut he threatened to veto, but the electorate has the memory of a goldfish on certain matters. While he may be governor, every other GOP state official won. He's not going to be able to do anything past centrist.

That worked quite well in Massachusetts (but in reverse) when they elected Republican governors Romney and Baker and the rest of the legislature was Democrat. Now I'm in Rhode Island I don't even know who the governor is. It probably doesn't really matter. I'm a low-information non-voter.

                I was only joking

I should really apply for citizenship, it's just a right old faff. Also, I'd need to stop using words like 'faff'.

To help you prepare for the citizenship test, here are a few practice questions:

                      1. Who has the largest crowd at his inauguration ceremony?
                        a. Barack Hussein Obama
                        b. Donald John Trump
                        c. Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.

                      2. Who paid for the southern border wall?
                        a. Mexico
                        b. The taxpayers of the United States
                        c. None of the above

                      3. Who really won the 2020 Presidential election?
                        a. Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.
                        b. Donald John Trump
                        c. Jo Jorgensen

                      4. What were the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys doing at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021?
                        a. Touring the U.S. Capitol
                        b. Taking selfies
                        c. All of the above
