    20 minutes of flying time?

Get back to me when it's two hours.

It could be 100hrs and cost $100 and there’s no way you’d get one.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

I dunno. He's bought horses, which might actually be a more expensive hobby.

20 minutes would get you over 20 miles.

The Hollywood hills should have a fleet of these things a year from now.

I wonder what the recharge time is.

A new jetpack product called Jetson ONE made its inaugural flight in the United States this week, and the company behind it says that it expects to begin deliveries to customers in 2024.

The Italy-based company, which has raised $15 million from investors that include musician will.i.am, says that it already has 300 pre-orders placed for the Jetson ONE, which will retail at $98,000.

The Jetson ONE can reportedly achieve a top flying speed of 63 miles per hour and an altitude of 1,500 feet. It is powered by eight electric motors, each with its own battery pack, connected to eight propellers. Altogether, that’s enough to generate around 20 minutes of flying time before it has to recharge.

@copper I think you have Microsoft Flight Simulator? The new edition will allow you to "fly" one.

Can it fly on three motors, when one shorts out? If so, I'm in!
Wait. Can it fly in the rain? Or, will a windshield wiper and heater cut flying time to 10 minutes. Then it depends on how quickly it gets 0-to-60. Oh yeah, it needs to be about 90% cheaper, then definitely, I'm in!

Technically, you die every time you use one of those things. Then replacement you spontaneously receives life.

But the same might be said for current moment you, and the you that replaces it in the next moment, occupying slightly different space.

These are deep concepts, fit only for conservatives to ponder.

That's plenty of engines, but still, what happens when they fail?

A regular helicopter, with big rotor blades can auto-rotate. It's not all that safe, but it can cushion the landing.

I don't think you could do that with those tiny little blades, maybe you could, but it's not obvious.
