Denver police investigates all shootings as if they are homicide cases, while other police departments elsewhere focus overwhelmingly on homicide cases (i.e., shootings that lead to injuries but not deaths are not investigated as vigorously).

Good idea if they have the resources. My wife’s cousin is a Colorado State Trooper in Denver. According to him they don’t. Time will tell. Hope it helps.

Too lazy to look it up, but I wonder what the staffing situation in Denver is these days, compared to before the death of St. George (Floyd).
I can guarantee that in Chicago, the staffing resources are horrible.
