I have a pretty good read on what young women think through my wife’s instagram.

I was floored by how unanimous and black/white the support for the Palestinian side is among them.

Or maybe that’s just who is comfortable expressing an opinion on social media.

Middle- and Upper-Class Women on Social Media is a culture. It has its own unique vocabulary, standards, communication protocols and moralities. And it's very, very divorced from reality.

        Biden gave the strongest statement

        You misspelled "read."

What makes you say "strongest statement in history?" What criteria?

Truman: “The history of America in its fight for freedom and the history of the Jews of America are one and the same. … Merely talking about the Four Freedoms is not enough,”

Kennedy: “Quite apart from the values and hopes which the State of Israel enshrines — and the past injuries which it redeems — it twists reality to suggest that it is the democratic tendency of Israel which has interjected discord and dissension into the Near East. Even by the coldest calculations, the removal of Israel would not alter the basic crisis in the area. For, if there is any lesson which the melancholy events of the last two years and more taught us, it is that, though Arab states are generally united in opposition to Israel, their political unities do not rise above this negative position. The basic rivalries within the Arab world, the quarrels over boundaries, the tensions involved in lifting their economies from stagnation, the cross pressures of nationalism — all of these factors would still be there, even if there were no Israel.”

Nixon: "The United States stands by its friends. Israel is one of its friends Peace can be based only on agreement between the parties and agreement can be achieved only through negotiations between them. The United States will not impose the terms of peace. The United States is prepared to supply military equipment necessary to support the efforts of friendly governments, like Israel's, to defend the safety of their people."

Reagan: "Only by full appreciation of the critical role the State of Israel plays in our strategic calculus can we build the foundation for thwarting Moscow's designs on territories and resources vital to our security and our national well-being ... Since the rebirth of the State of Israel, there has been an ironclad bond between that democracy and this one ... In Israel, free men and women are every day demonstrating the power of courage and faith. Back in 1948 when Israel was founded, pundits claimed the new country could never survive. Today, no one questions that Israel is a land of stability and democracy in a region of tyranny and unrest ... America has never flinched from its commitment to the State of Israel--a commitment which remains unshakable."

I'm not convinced - it's not like they're being voted in on a wave on moderacy in the first place. It seems like the dumber the edges of the spectrum get, the more entrenched their supporters become.

I don’t know. Opinion is pretty squarely for Israel. I’d use their own words if I were running against them.

Going back to the original question...I was listening to Clay & Buck on the radio this week. They had a segment where they asked Jewish voters to call in and tell them if anything had changed in their politics since the Hamas attack.

Most of the callers were women. All were Democrats except for one lady in Chicago, who stated her family gave heavily to the Democrat Party, mostly through fundraisers (including for Pelosi). With the exception of the Chicago Republican, all said they would still be voting for the Democrat nominee in the Presidential race and also in other upcoming Federal office elections.

I just don't understand the seemingly monolithic support...
