    Mr. Biden, where art thou?

That’s good. The Biden administration sends weapons and munitions to the IDF and sends whole carrier groups to the region, all while working on hostage negotiations in the background.

Let the governors deal with repatriating inconvenienced tourists safe in their Tel Aviv hotels.

      Seems about right.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

US Government has stated that "tourists" and others are responsible for the financial hit for their removal.

As outrageous as this might sound, I get it. They were going to pay for getting home anyway.

        Question is: are they double-paying?

Also, is the PR hit for this worth the nominally minimal hit to the US budget?

I suppose it's an effort to not be accused of unfairness as compared to treatment of other disaster victims.

Friends daughter is in a Jewish sorority at a US college (thought they are not Jewish).

Anyway, some of the girls have relatives/family/friends in Israel who are leaving. Airlines are providing refunds if they do not return on their original ticket.

The first 270 Americans stranded in Israel just landed in Tampa Bay thanks to Ron DeSantis.

Cost of flying migrants to NYC < Cost of keeping them in Florida.

Fiscal responsibility from Governor DeSantis, FTW!

In fact it isn't possible - the minute you put a bunch of asylum seekers in a hotel, it's no longer 4 star.

Nearly two dozen Americans fleeing Israel with the help of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration were stranded for days in Cyprus before they finally got to Florida on Wednesday, according to the head of an international rescue organization who blamed contractors that state officials hired to run the operation.

Their rush to help DeSantis score political points for his presidential campaign caused the confusion, said Bryan Stern, CEO of Project Dynamo, which partnered with Florida on the missions.
