Thanks for the tip, but I think I’ll pass. Have come to conclusion that this pensioned retirement gig is highly underrated.

There is a community of Old Believers north of where I live. Not the easiest place to work and live. Pretty wary of outsiders and from what I understand will only accept other Old Believers to teach their kids.

We had a serious application for a Russian-Ukrainian charter school, back when the state gave $250,000 seed money for anyone trying to form a charter. I say "serious" because the group was large, and the application was thorough. I felt bad that we denied the application, but it was fun to watch the startled expressions when I spoke estonian. Two of the proposers were from estoland, studied at Tartu University. We denied the application for what became the typical reason: budget numbers weren't realistic.

Here Ukrainian schools are part of both Public and Catholic school systems.
