I am not surprise with this at all.
Maybe one of our economic experts here can explain, but I always shake my head when I hear about a new casino and that it will generate USD$XXXXMM. Hmmm, if people were not spending that money at the casino, I dont think they would just be putting it in their pillows. They would be spending it at other places.
If someone is going to spend USD$500 in a month on entertainment, and if the casino is built, they spend USD$300 there, most (not everyone, but most) will not increase their entertainment budget by USD$300/month. They would just cut back on entertainment somewhere else.
