My estimate is that the security line at Denver this morning was no less than 5,000 people, maybe 6-8K.

I know that sounds crazy. I have never seen anything like this.

On an average day more that 130,000 people pass through Denver airport. There are only 2 checkpoints in the airport.

Here is a picture from 6/30/23. I was in this line this morning.

This shows maybe the final 1/3 of the back-and-forth ropes. Then before the back-and-forth-ropes the line ran the entire length of the (very long) terminal and back again maybe halfway.

It moved surprisingly fast but it is terrifying when you first see it as you descend the escalator to hell.

I was there in August and it felt like I was in some Chinese city with 10MM people that no one’s ever heard of.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Been through that. It's a mess.
