The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Yeah, that stuck out to me too.

Note: I can't find any hospital affiliation for this guy. Everything is about his business treatment ventures.

Put on a scrub suit, sling a stethoscope around your neck, and advertise your training...you're off!

Oh, and put your scrub cap on correctly so it covers the hair at the top of your forehead, you poseur.

There's some irony that YouTube don't seem to have a problem with his videos, but will seemingly ban others for disinformation.

          I was only joking

That's what happens when your platform has 3.7 million daily uploads, you employ 2,000 people and they're all woke.

            Please love yourself.

Problem is not wokeness, but conflicts of interests. YouTube primarily makes money by selling advertisements, advertising is more effective with gullible audiences, so YouTube has an incentive to keep (or even promote) videos that tend to attract gullible audiences.

                1. "You stop remembering to breathe."

Bullshit. You don't "remember" to breath. Respiration is a process triggered by chemical reactions (PaCO2, pH, PaO2) at the brainstem level. Subconscious, and nothing to do with "remembering."

                1. "Patients 'Fight' Anesthesia."

Bullshit again. Either you're tolerant or you're not. If you're tolerant, you require more. If you're "kicking, screaming," as he puts it, you're tolerant, and you're disoriented. Think of a very, very, drunk person - agitated - who's hurt himself. Yeah, same thing. Frontal cortex has been disinhibited, and the lizard brain takes over.

                1. "Cognitive Reserve"

What the actual hell is that? Ah, it's modifiable by "supplements."

I gave up after about 6 minutes.

He seems more interested in hawking his YouTUbe channel and various stimulants than actually talking about medicine.

                So. Much. Bullshit.

@George-K , @Jolly , just curious ... did you "report" that video to YouTube for "misinformation" or something?

                        LOL

The problem is that, even today, no one really knows how general inhalation anesthesia works. There are lots of theories about various ion channels across cell membranes affecting depolarization thresholds, and all that crap. But, in final analysis, it's speculation.

Intravenous drugs are better understood, however.

And this guy is just slinging Andrew Weil bullshit, while probably making good bank.
