Akshually, my surgeons were my friends with whom I socialize fairly regularly (twice a year or so).

I think evangelicals means crazy annoying people that like religion too much and must be hated.

That is pretty much how the word gets used on cnn. I think the people who disfavor evangelicals would favor the cnn definition, rather than any definition the evangelicals might have.
