Saturday at the theatah

At the Taft to see Chaz Palminteri’s one man show, A Bronx Tale. I had seen the movie but did not know it came from the play, which he wrote, as well as the screenplay and the musical. He plays all 18 characters.

Outstanding show. He came out to talk afterward. This was his 1125th performance of it.

Wow, awesome. Had no idea he was doing this. I was 11 when the movie came out and I remember my uncle telling me about the door lock test.

There’s another test in the play that’s even funnier. I highly recommend if it comes around. I swear there was every Bronx born Cincinnatian in the audience. Most mobbed up theater event I’ve ever been to. Their women’s style confirmed it.

Looks like it's On Demand with AMC if you have that on cable.

That was a great movie. A good way to spend a Monday afternoon. Looks like the actors who played "C" and "Jane" didn't have much of a career afterward. Small roles in insignificant movies.
