Some fifteen year-old black chick was pissed, because a white woman bumped into her.

My barber had his shop in a mostly black neighborhood with a day care across the street. I could see it from my chair. In the times I was there I saw no less than three fights in the parking lot. Sean always said "Never argue with a black woman. You will never, ever win.".

It is a clash of cultures.

In this case, it could have been a very deadly clash.

While the white woman should not have gotten out of her car, the black woman should not have escalated the confrontation nor should she have blocked the vehicle from leaving.

Depending upon the state, that's a justifiable shooting.

Secondly...It's not in the video, but the white guy was fired from his job. Both white people were arrested.

Two things:

1. If anybody was arrested, I think you arrest the whole bunch and let the judge straighten it out.

2. I don't see where an employer has the right to fire the man.

A cultural anthropologist without a political bias would not have difficulty picking out the side of that confrontation that was exhibiting the greatest privilege.

Unfortunate not to have video from beginning to end, but seems like the black girl's mother is saying both "why did you bump into her?" and "why did you say you were sorry?"

So, seems like bumping occurred and the white woman said she was sorry. If so, that should have been the end of it.

We're also an at-will state. Ya gotta have more than just I don't like the way you part your hair, or you open yourself up for a myriad of possibilities. Did I also say we have more hungry lawyers than Carter has liver pills?

In my contract it specifically states that my employment can be terminated for any reason, or for no reason at all.

I'm not sure that it works that way in practice, as the company has very complex HR and anti-discrimination policies.
