Until watching this I had no idea who Dave Portnoy is.

He's "Barstool Sports."

He's organizing something called "Pizzafest" - a fundraiser.

The Washington Post is sending a letter to sponsors of Pizzafest which, in the first paragraphs, identifies Portnoy as being a misogynist, and having "problematic" views. So, he calls the reporter and asks about this.

Like I said, I know nothing about him, Pizzafest, or Barstool Sports. But to watch him take on the reporter is fun to watch.

WaPo has more readers and more resources, but Portnoy's only one guy, so he can be faster. Which he leverages. Good for him.

Change the laws back to where public figures have more protection against slander and libel.
