The middle finger at 2 minute mark was a classy move! LOL

(But what really surprised my (though maybe I should not have been surprised) is the amount of cameras that are everywhere!)

        I thought the same thing...

        The selfie at 1:35.

I'm not sure about the bird at 2 minutes however.

This is 2:02 and there are two fingers.

        Screenshot 2023-09-13 at 8.50.10 PM.png

On first viewing, I though she was flipping the bird here as well, but she wasn't.

        Screenshot 2023-09-13 at 8.45.45 PM.png

But, regardless of how many birds were flipped...what a piece of work.

I'm pretty sure that second (index) finger was a waggling threat.

Anyone who says do you know who I am should be jailed for a year and kicked off whatever they are on. There just isn’t anything more anti-American.

I don’t know about jail time but a gonchie pull and a parade through the streets in a brank (scold’s bridle) would be suitably appropriate.

It was kind of fun to watch her pull her dress up several times so that she wouldn’t have a wardrobe malfunction.

                        QUOTE
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) was ejected from the musical "Beetlejuice" in Denver this week after she was accused of vaping, singing, recording the show and being disruptive during the performance.

An incident report obtained by the Colorado Sun says that two patrons were reprimanded and then escorted from the premises for "causing a disturbance" during the musical Sunday night at the city-owned Buell Theatre.

See, that's why streaming the show to your home is better. She could have done all that and more while streaming and she would not be ejected. (OK, "recording" a streaming video may or may not violate copyright or end user service agreements but the other stuff like vaping, singing, being disruptive in her own home should be fine.)

Why stop at vaping? Why not smoke a few joints and suck back a couple of Bud Lites in the privacy of your very own home theatre? After she is an important somebody in her world.

Boebert campaign manager Drew Sexton said that she “is indeed a supporter of the performing arts and was genuinely thrilled to make her first trip to Buell Theater” that night of the performance, adding that she has “nothing but the highest regard and respect for the performers.”

To that end, he says there are “important lessons learned that the congresswoman would pass along to others” attending the theater. Those lessons include, in part:

No photos and recording is a very hard rule and must be abided by at all times.

Please refrain from singing. The guests around you are there to hear the performers!

Introduce yourself to the guests around you before the play starts. They’re excited to be there as well, and it may prevent any unfortunate miscommunications or misheard requests from leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth during or after the performance. Every guest deserves to enjoy the performance, even if they consume art differently than you do.

Be thoughtful about your outfit. The whole world may wind up seeing it.

If you’re going with a group or with a guest, make sure they share your enthusiasm for the arts and double-check their partisan affiliation.

“Put these lessons to good use there or at any performing-arts venue,” Dexton says. “While Sunday's trip didn’t end the way the congresswoman wanted or intended it to, she still strongly recommends Coloradans see Beetlejuice in its final weekend at the Buell.”

Dexton adds that Boebert “is hopeful that some good can come from this unanticipated situation” and that hopefully "someone who hasn’t given a musical a chance before is willing to go see what all the fuss is about.” But please remember, he concluded, “No photos!"

LOL. Years ago, I was at a local orchestra's performance, and the guy in front of me, his arm around his girlfriend, spouse, was conducting along with the music.

Between pieces, I tapped him on the shoulder and asked him to stop. "It's VERY distracting."

The guy next to me said, "Thank you."

Don't drink heavily before going to the the theatre. There'll be plenty of time for that during the intermission.

A grown-ass woman doesn’t know how to act in a theater. SMH.

Read a little about her background and you’ll understand a little better. She was more likely to be at a Steppenwolf show than an Andrew Lloyd Webber production…

Whoa. Hey now. I don't see why we have to go and insult Steppenwolf fans like that.

                                      Please love yourself.

                                        Well...

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
