Is plaid coming back?

I'm seeing more and more talking heads wearing plaid suits.

Is this becoming a trend? Gawd, I hope not.

OK, the other thing I’m seeing is men’s suits and jackets being much too tight. All kinds of strained buttons.

A properly fitting jacket should have no wrinkles, creases or folds in front.

The current style is ridiculously tight. You have to be really skinny to even think about it.

Most guys look terrible in it.

The tight ankle is really ugly.

Give me 3 buttons, sorry, I know. That's just the way it is.

Glen Plaid has its place. (Come on, that is an easy straight line).

I still prefer double breasted, although I don’t wear it as well as I did a dozen years ago. Otherwise, a navy blue two-button blazer matched with loose fitting medium grey wool trousers.

I was at a meeting this week, and this bloke showed up wearing a jacket and too tight pants that were also a little short. I rather suspect he wasn't wearing socks.

It turns out he was French. Another failure of multiculturalism.
