A lot of truth in this.

The American Public better get comfortable with it. As care becomes more rationed, Medicare and Medicaid will not pay for terminal patients to have hospital care.

My parents both had home hospice care in their final days.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Did they choose to do so or were they forced to do so?

Chose. In the case of my mom we even had 24hr home care.

              Which is fine.

But...If the government is paying for all or part of your care, who chooses what type and level of care you receive?

My FIL had it too. It was a huge help. He surely did not want to die in a hospital.

Speaking of Hospice, the lead singer from Smash Mouth is in Hospice Care. Liver failure…

How much do you have to drink to die of liver failure at that age? And Keith Richards is still going strong

A lot, unless he also has Alpha-1 (which affects liver too) or NASH another liver condition on top of it all.
