    Something else I read today, also talks about changing Russian tactics. The Russians are mining behind some Ukrainian advances, so that when an attack is repelled, the retreating Ukrainians run into dense minefields. That's a nasty and effective tactic.

    Either the Ukrainians get the air assets to turn this into a maneuver war or things are not looking good...If the Russian people can live with a war of attrition.

      Good analysis or, at least, cleverly critical. Still, well worth the read whether or not it is accurate.
