    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12445811/Fired-Ukrainian-prosecutor-Shokin-says-Joe-Hunter-Biden-DID-BRIBES-ousting-Isnt-corruption-says-preview-bombshell-interview.html

Former Ukranian Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin is accusing Joe and Hunter Biden of 'corruption' - saying they accepted large money 'bribes' from Burisma and were behind his firing.

Shokin, who was ousted as Ukraine's top prosecutor in 2016, made the accusations during excerpts of an upcoming explosive interview airing on Fox News.

At the time of his firing, he was investigating oil company Burisma Holdings for corruption - when Hunter was serving on the firm’s board.

'I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my firm personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed,' Shokin says in the clip of the interview.

'The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal - my firing - isn't that alone a case of corruption?' he continues in another clip.

The White House is accusing Fox News of giving a 'platform to lies' by airing the interview.

In December 2015, then-Vice President Joe Biden delivered a speech to the Ukrainian Rada during which he touted his anti-corruption efforts in the country and urged an overhaul and reform of the office of the general prosecutor.

Son of a bitch...they fired him.

Add this tidbit to the recent revelation that the State Department was pleased with the way Shokin was conducting his corruption investigation.

I spent 20 plus years involved in business deals and doing business in Russia and Ukraine. Almost exclusively in the oil and gas equipment and services sector. I never knew anyone who took bribes or gave bribes. We engaged reputable independent agents on a commission basis to ensure everything was above board.

Why should anyone believe the sour grapes of a former bureaucrat who has an axe to grind?

        Because he's telling the truth?

          @Jolly

If you believe it is the truth then make it so.

But don’t think that the Kremlin would not have already used it if it were true. To my knowledge it has not.

            The undisputed facts:

            • Shokin was investigating Burisma
            • Ukraine was scheduled to get $1B in aid, that deal was made before Biden visited Ukraine
            • Ambassador Nuland praised the Ukrainian governments (specifically Shokin) efforts on behalf of then SecState Kerry
            • Joe Biden wanted Shokin fired
            • Shokin was fired

            Nuland's memo:

One can speculate about Shokin's motivation and him being disgruntled. What I posted doesn't speak to that, only to what we know to be true.

            So, why was Shokin fired?
