    Surprised he's still alive.

May his imminent death be painless and peaceful.

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I was fortunate to spend an evening with President Carter and Mrs. Carter in a small group of about 10 people. While I tend towards a conservative nature and disagree with many of President Carter’s views, I respect the ever living hell out of the man. His liberal leanings are the real deal out of an honest concern and love for his fellow man. He was the wrong guy in the wrong place in 1976, and he’s got his share of faults, but he is an honest to goodness good man.

He was what we needed after Mr. Nixon, and Mr. Ford, but mostly Nixon.

The Naval Academy trained him well.

If anyone’s getting into heaven, it’s him.

I wish he and his family peace and comfort.

He epitomizes a man with whom I can really disagree, a lot. And still respect him for who he is.

I always thought the "Lusted in my heart" controversy silly. What healthy guy hasn't "lusted in his heart" about Raquel Welch, or someone like that?

It's normal, healthy, and if you don't do anything about it, there's nothing wrong with that. I admired his honesty.

I’ll disagree, there. I don’t see Bush Sr., Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson as having ever smoked a Jay. Kennedy? Quite possibly… But Bill was a different generation and a pretty big change from prior Presidents.

They’re both good people, and love each other so very much. Deeply. I’ve seen it often when one partner dies, the other dies shortly thereafter. I wonder if this will happen with them?

Probably. But they seem to have had a very good and long life.

I'd say there's also a fair-to-middling chance that after being convicted he will ascend into heaven and sit on the right hand of the Father for eternity. And if you think you've got it bad, imagine having Donald Trump sit on your hand for eternity - or even just for 5 minutes.
