He is absolutely right that any belief of China coming to appreciate western culture and playing by international rules is delusional. Capitalism made China richer but did not fundamentally change CCP leadership, goals or tactics.
China being shitty will hurt China more than anyone else in the long.
No one has sympathy for China - other countries are rooting for their downturn.
