Look, let’s call this what it is: a 67-year-old man tweeting out an angry, hashtag-filled review of the Barbie movie to make headlines.

I wonder what that writer would call a thousand word angry screed about a tweet.

Just watch the Barbie movie like you watch the LEGO movies and you’ll be fine.

The Lego movies are fun kids movies. Sadly my two are too old to give me an excuse to go any more.

But the Barbie movie attracts many adult viewers, including those without children. So you would not seem "out of place" if you go watch it solo. (Same could be said for the LEGO movies, the Super Mario Bros. movie, the Ninja Turtles movie, the animated Spider Man movie, etc. After all, these are decades old franchises with fans that have grew up with the franchises over many decades.)
