Yes - there is a massive constituency that could be tied together pretty easily by a good candidate on the GOP side.

It would peel off a ton of the center and probably lead to a legislative lead as well.

But a plurality of the GOP base can’t shake off the Trump albatross to get it. Sad really.

The left has gone way too far and it’s theoretically easy to kick its ass right now.

In the Dems' 4D chess, they are happy to throw caution and all reasonable fairness to the wind as they attack Trump. That will give rise to more righteous indignation from the right, and more Trump as their weapon to fight back. The Dems know they can beat Trump, and they know Trump will stigmatize the GOP for generations to come.

          Education is extremely important.

            Maybe not.

I'm still hanging my hat on the economy. The Resident can scream "Bidenomics" all he wants to, but a lot of people are not in good shape. I think the market is shaky. I know that many things in the grocery store are 20% higher than just a couple of years ago. I know gas prices are starting to trend upwards again, and Biden has half of the strategic reserve he had 18 months ago.

Now, if the Dems can't nail Trump with a felony, I think the independents swing back, especially in the swing states.

            Might be interesting...
