In the not too dim past, if this had happened at a gas station down here, you would have had a mob of men beating the Voguer with tire irons.
Wrong, but there is something to be said for a citizenry which will only tolerate stuff to a certain point.

Had the vogueing happened in front of a bunch of young children, then one of the children’s parents pulled out a gun and shot the voguers, the public opinion may be different.

Yeah, for something like this, perhaps some of those somethings are “wrong”, “intolerance,” and “vigilantism.”
For some other things:
The American Revolution? “A citizenry will only tolerate stuff to a certain point.”
The American Civil War? “A citizenry will only tolerate stuff to a certain point.”
The Million Men March? “A citizenry will only tolerate stuff to a certain point.”
The Stonewall Riots? “A citizenry will only tolerate stuff to a certain point.”

Civilization dies when good people do nothing.
Is that the only way (or even just the most popular way) for a civilization to die? Just ask the Incas or the Mayans, or for that matter, the Pompeiians. Hey @Sweet-Meteor, care to opine?
