    Saw that.

    May be sour grapes.

Or maybe it explains how the Kid From Scranton has been so successful.

If his allegations are true, records of IRS harassment, indictments, etc should be readily available.

          Maybe.

You've lived around the metropolis of Chicago awhile. What can be done with an untraceable conversation at a cocktail party, when somebody owes somebody a favor or somebody wishes to curry favor with someone else?

It would not surprise me to see a favor called in at the IRS.

Amazing the junior senator from Delaware had such pull with the DoJ in just his second term.

Under a Republican administration no less.

            Damn, he’s good.

If a junior senator decided to have you audited, reckon he could get it done?

                I dunno. Pretty strong allegations.

                https://www.dailywire.com/news/jill-bidens-ex-says-joes-brother-threatened-him-after-divorce-i-was-on-the-wrong-side-of-them

Bill Stevenson married Jill Biden in 1970 — their divorce was finalized in 1975 — and he told Newsmax host Greg Kelly that Frankie Biden had been the one to approach him after the divorce, apparently threatening him over a piece of property that Jill wanted to retain.

“This is when my problems started,” Stevenson told Kelly during Wednesday’s broadcast. “In 1982, they lost the house, and Jill had to come to the lawyer’s office and sign off the deed of a house in downtown Newark [Delaware].”

Stevenson explained that it had not been the house where they lived together or a beach house that he co-owned with friends, but that it had been worth around $35,000 – $40,000 at the time and had since gone up dramatically in value.

“Here is where the problem was,” Stevenson continued. “Frankie Biden of the Biden crime family comes up to me and he goes, ‘Give her the house, or you’re going to have serious problems.’ I looked at Frankie, and I said, ‘What, are you threatening me?'”

But a short time later, Stevenson said that he believed the Bidens made good on that threat. “Needless to say, about two months later, my brother and I were indicted for that tax charge for $8,200. [I] could not believe the power of Joe Biden and the Department of Justice. I couldn’t believe it.”

Kelly mentioned President Joe Biden’s embattled son Hunter Biden then, noting that he was facing only two misdemeanor charges over $2 million in unpaid taxes and comparing that to the two felony charges leveraged against Stevenson and his brother for a bill under $9,000.

“I was on the wrong side of them and they have literally come after me for 35 years in a row. One little thing after another,” Stevenson said.

You could have someone audited, if you told the IRS a convincing story.

Jill and Stevenson's divorce decree was issued in May 1975. He says the divorce became contentious when Jill asked for a share of The Stone Balloon, which he says a judge denied.

In the years following the divorce, Stevenson was convicted on a federal fraud charge and was also sentenced to six years probation for passing bad checks. He blames his legal problems on politics.

Stevenson has just written a book about his life and is considering publishing it. He denied that anyone from the Republican Party had asked him to speak out against Biden.

“It’s years ago, but guess what, it's so current right now, because he's picking on people about character,” Stevenson said.

Personally, whether Jill Biden had an affair with Joe in 1972 is right up there with whether I'm getting enough apricots in my diet.

I'm much more concerned that the "leader of the "free" world" potentially can't tie his own shoelaces.
