The judge was supposed to rule on sanctioning the attorney about 10 minutes ago (9PM EDT).
I think that lawyer's career in the courtroom is coming to an abrupt halt.
But to @jon 's point, can the judge refuse the plea agreement on the basis of bad behavior by the attorney(s)?

Well, they can refuse the deal if they think it’s too lenient. But it’s rare.

I think you missed the lead, George. The judge is at least postponing and investigating the plea deal and may turn it down.

Without going back and looking, I think the gist is, "Go away, hammer something out, you guys. Let me know when you have an agreement that's not a scam."
