      Funny how organizations for "amateur, nonprofit" athletics, tend towards corruption. NCAA, IOC... If there isn't a free market to distribute the money to the athletes, bureaucratic corruption devours the money instead. To watch that same corrupt organization get high and mighty about a hundred dollars here and there to an athlete, is pretty special.

      Education is extremely important.

          Money has changed hands under the table since they wore leather helmets. I had a good friend who played for LaTech. The hardest thing he did to make his paycheck, was to drive to the car dealership and pick it up.

          Nowadays, it's NIL.
