        In high school, I dated a girl who lived in one of Capone's old homes. It was a two-flat with a lower level.

        Of course, his mansion in Florida was ... extreme.

        In the Chicago area there are so many huge, ostentatious homes owned by mobsters; it always surprises me to see how some of them are so modest.

        In my neighborhood, we have Frank ("The Enforcer") Nitti's house.
