    Sotomayor - 97%
    Kagan, Kavanaugh, Jackson - 95%
    Roberts, Barrett - 92%
    Gorsuch - 81%
    Thomas - 78%
    Alito - 73%

        It’s sort of an indicator that most cases have no culture war valence.

          I think you'd have to segregate those that do and don't and look at those numbers .

              What's the criterion here?
              "More frequently in majority" == "more centrist"
              "Less frequently in the majority" == "more extreme" ?

                When the cases in point are before us to be judged individually, it is suboptimal to draw conclusions from aggregate statistics like this.

                Education is extremely important.

                  I recall one unanimous decision recently talked about here, which had enough culture war valence that the reporting pretended it was split down the middle 5 to 4.
