Because it was Biden who ordered that his chief political rival–former Republican President Donald Trump–be criminally indicted in the hopes of removing him as a political candidate in the 2024 election. Isn’t that election interference? Isn’t that what third-world nations do to their politics?
If Biden('s handlers) ordered it, it was like a mafia boss ordering something, with no paper trail and complete deniability. But I doubt the risk of ordering it was warranted. The culture can be relied upon to do its job. No conspiracy or top down marionetting required. Just a socially advantageous mind virus. That said, by the letter of the law, it does seem clear Trump did indictable things. But the effect of those crimes is clearly a nothing burger, and the intent of the criminal was at worst a petulant nose-thumbing at the federal bureaucracy.

He's placing his politics above his writing. Bad move. He should've trusted the metaphorical substitution and just said "Banana Republic."
