I think the fighter fits the needs of the Ukrainians. Let's see if it can do what the Swedes think it can do.

Sooner or later Russia will be sending aircraft in greater numbers. We need to be sure Ukraine can repel them. Send it.

It does something U.S. planes don't...short runways on public roads, coupled with very fast TAT.
