Dear @Horace, as a fellow AAPL enthusiast (at least until recently), I want to let you know that I have sold my AAPL stock. Depends on how y'all feel about 'ol Ax's financial acumen, you may of course feel free to take this as a contrarian indicator. In any case, I continue to wish you the best with your AAPL holdings.

I gobbled up those 5 shares as part of my short calls. It is ok, and I forgive you, and I wish you the best in your meanderings through the financial markets, Ax.

As far as AAPL goes, I think it's probably towards a top. But I have positioned my options accordingly. This is fun stuff. More fun than my job, most days.

Ax, I'm really sorry for your losses. The price of AAPL at the time of the original post was 164, and now it's 178. I just want you to know that I'm keeping you in my thoughts. You'll get through this. Don't think about what you could have bought with the money you don't have because you sold. It'll only cause you more pain.

184 this morning. Even my options are becoming stretched. I hope for our sake that it settles down. But the developer conference is coming up this week, and they are set to announce their mixed virtual reality headset.

The cost basis for my AAPL is less than 10% of it's current market value.

If it makes you feel any better, I just bought an iPad. OTOH, the fact that I'm finally adopting the technology is probably the kiss of death.
