It sounds a bit like the complaints about all those people abandoning Disney/New York/etc. because it's over-crowded. As with Obama, the servers were over-whelmed because so many people are interested.

That's sort of what I meant. If the rollout were a yawn-inducing event, this would not have happened.

People are interested, and with the "botched" hashtag getting traction, he's going to have even more eyes. I'm not sure if this qualifies as a Streisand effect (probably not), or a "no such thing..."

Wow. It would be one thing if the lincoln project presented itself as entertainment punditry. But they want people to believe they are serious historians and thinkers. And millions think of them in exactly that way.

I noticed they included my favorite bit of gaslighting from the left. The one where they accuse the right of pushing some bizarre culture war that comes out of nowhere.

No, they carry a lot of weight in the NAMBLA crowd, and that’s a big enough demographic that Target and the Dodgers are willing to give up their Christian base to try to win…
